Audit Manager at SizweNtsalubaGobodo

About the Position

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of the auditing standards.
  • Understanding of accounting standards.

Audit

  • Assist in compiling audit, drafting management letters, audit reports and other related documents.
  • Ensure the delivery of high quality accurate and cost effective.
  • Liaise with management of the auditee on a regular basis through Audit Steering Committee and Audit committees.
  • Liaise with AG relating to contract out and contract in audits.
  • Ensure adherence to the required firm and IRBA quality requirements.

People Matters

  • Supervise the SAICA Trainee Accountant Training Scheme.
  • Maintain and enhance emplyee motivation.
  • Assist in establishing the strategic direction of component and manage teams by ensuring that they are aligned with the vision, mission and organisational strategic objectives of SizweNtsalubaGobodo.

Financial Management

  • Assist in identifying revenue growth opportunities within the component and optimise its operational expanditure.
  • Assist with the formular of a budget.
  • Management Debt management and collection for allocated clients

Admin Tasks

  • Approval of timesheets.
  • Approval of expense claims.
  • Approval of leave.
  • Management and SAICA TMS and training records of trainees.

Qualifications and experience

CA(SA)

Minimum Experience

  • At least 3 years audit and accounting experience.
  • 2 years hands on management experience.
